  • For someone currently held by the county jail, start with jail inmate records and call 970-920-5331 when the current-inmates PDF is unclear.
  • For booking photos, read jail roster mugshots. Pitkin's public roster does not display mugshots, and requests must go through the correct criminal justice records custodian.
  • For charges, hearings, or case status after an arrest, use court records after a jail arrest and the Colorado Judicial Branch Pitkin County court page.
  • For facility address, phone, visitation, mail, and jail-service details, use the Pitkin County Jail page.
  • For a sentenced Colorado prison inmate, use the Colorado Department of Corrections offender search at https://www.doc.state.co.us/oss/.
  • For federal custody, use the BOP inmate locator at https://www.bop.gov/inmateloc/. For immigration detention, use ICE ODLS at https://locator.ice.gov/odls/.
  • For custody notifications, Colorado VINE is available by phone at 888-263-8463 or through VINELink.
